The Wallflowers - Collected: Live 1992 - 2005

In recognition of The Wallflowers' recently released greatest hits album...

A fan-made companion compilation of the band's best unofficial live recordings culled from over a decade of collecting. Discs one and two are loosely arranged to resemble a live setlist, but more so to accommodate the varying sound quality that includes FM, TV, soundboards, and audience recordings. Disc three consists of bonus tracks and alternates.  

 

The highlight of the collection, in this compiler's opinion, is the soaring alternate arrangement of 'Letters from the Wasteland' from Hamburg 2003, heard here for the first time as a soundboard/audience matrix that boosts the vocal while adding a fuller sound to the band.
